Pavla Jonsson(ová), Ph.D., taught at the Prague Institute from 2006 to 2014 and also teaches for the Anglo-American University in Prague (https://www.aauni.edu/directory/pavla-jonssonova/). She was a recipient of a Fulbright research scholarship (UC Santa Cruz, 1997) and collaborator with the creative writing program of Naropa University.
Since 1980 she has been playing and recording in rock bands (Dybbuk, Zuby Nehty, currently Malé Zuby). She is a member of a civic association Puppets in Hospitals who perform for sick children. Her publications include three monographs, numerous essays, interviews, poetry, and translations. Pavla’s covid research interests include mapping the music of local subcultures.
