Jiřina is a Czech textile designer who is well known for her original clothing, lace and fiber creations. She has taken part in the 1991 International Lace Biennale exhibition in Brussels, Belgium; the Lace Powerhouse Museum, Sydney in 2000; the 1st Biennale of Czech Lace at the Vamberk Museum of Lace in 2002 and in the Metamorphosis of Fibre – Personalities of Czech Lace during the second half of 20th Century, Prague Museum of Applied Arts in 2004. In 2009 – 2010, her work was exhibited in Dresses (with photographs by R. Borovka) in Vamberk and Luxembourg. Her works form part of the permanent collections in the Prague Academy of Arts and in the Museum of Lace.
